A new webinar series developed in collaboration with the BSPR and Midlands Imaging Teaching Academy delivering a series of free, weekly webinars designed to teach the core components of the first three years of the RCR clinical radiology curriculum. The content will be expertly delivered by clinicians identified by each Special Interest Group (SIG). The Joint London Diagnostic
Radiology Radiation Protection Supervisor Programme is a collaborative
course developed by Medical Physics departments in and around London to provide
high‑quality RPS training in an online format. The programme combines pre‑course
e‑learning with a live online training day featuring lectures, interactive
workshops in small breakout groups, and opportunities for discussion with RPAs.
The course covers the core competences for Radiation Protection Supervisors as
defined in HSE Ionising Radiations Report No. 6 and is delivered by
experienced Radiation Protection Advisers and Clinical Scientists. Pre‑course
learning is accessed via e‑Learning for Healthcare (e‑LfH) and is
expected to take around three hours. Delegates wishing to receive a certificate
of RPS training will complete a short online open‑book assessment.This course is aimed at prospective and established RPSs working with X-ray imaging modalities
